Downtown Fullerton - Santa Fe District

Santa Fe District

On the southern side of DowntownFullerton is the Santa Fe District. Most well known is the bus turn-around zone known as the Fullerton Railway Plaza. It also hosts the historic Santa Fe Depot. Here you will see more Spanish Colonial style architecture. The Santa Fe District is a beautiful open area filled with hundreds of trees and wide walkways.

AMTRAK & Metrolink stop in the location regularly throughout the day. Many people in Fullerton can take advantage of commuting on the rail out of the area. We urge you to take the train down to San Diego. It’s inexpensive and fun! If you’re inclined, you may want to use the train to go to work. DowntownFullerton is lucky to have this service so close to home.

Also located in the Santa Fe District is The Old Spaghetti Factory. Before being an Italian restaurant, this building was once the Orange County Depot for the Union Pacific Railroad. It was built in 1923 and remained in service until 1972.
